the 747 in Plainwell

Very good food, very Italian. be prepaired to wait as the meals are cooked toorder, but well worth the trip. full bar facilities.
this plase is right next to Sam's Joint and is a welcome diversion in food.

THIRSTY PERCH GRILL, South Haven

All to often when you order something " southwest" you get heavy TexMex, not so here.

The Southwestern Cobb salad was 'southwest' but not domineering. I recommend it
My dining companion had the Nicoise Salad and was also pleased with the mixture of tastes.

Captain Louie's in Battle Creek

This is one of the places I like to go for seafood, even though my companion rueh's the fact that there are no libations of adult choice. Food is simple but very good and plentiful. Do not even think about the all you can eat specials, one round and you are full. Pleasant and attentive staff.

SKY COURT BRONSON

Breakfast is really pretty good, especially if you get food products that come out of the main kitchen. But know that the Scrambled eggs come out of a cardboard carton and are baked in a steam oven.
Lunch, the ladies at the fresh salad and sandwich case are very concerned about freshness. but the grill work is made for Lipitor.
Dinner. again, surprisingly, the food from the patient's kitchen is very good. but the stuff cooked at the grill is to be aware............ except for the pizza.

Red Robin on Westnedge

One thing I willl say is they have so many choices, it takes awhile to read the menu. One choice you do not have is rare, medium rare or medium. You get the meat as they want to cook it. My guess is you are not old enough to know and take that the risk of a medium rare hamburger.

Sam's Joint in Plainwell

Who ever cooks the premium meats does an excellent job at geting it cooked the way you want, I just wish the meat buyer would quit buying grissel.
And how about some pan fried chicken livers instead of deep fried.

Clara's in Battle Creek

Service was OK if a little indifferent, but the lasagna was very good.
My dining companion had the Quiche and favored it as being very well done and a credit to them.

Depot in Bangor

While visiting the Antique mall on the main drag, if you find your self needing something to eat, walk the block and go to the Depot coffee shop. The soups are magnificent and the salads are very good.

Bella Sorelle Bistro........ Richland

You will find the food, in general' to be banal. What you will not find banal is the service, or lack there of.

Panda Forrest

Some of the best Chinese in the area. I am only sorry that the competition has made them cut expenses, I miss the orange slices at the end of the meal.

gigi's on gull road

Don't care what the KZ gazette reviewer said, some of the hot sandwiches have meat that is way overcooked. Must be this new deal about overcooking the meat and giving you the undercooked warning at the same time.

Can not get a meduim rear anything at Chili's

Bravo's

If you go to Bravo's and the dining area to the left is open and there are tables open, and they take you straight back to seating by the bar, you have been dised.
If they have the Mushroom soup, it is a must try.

you want to add your thoughts........send them to 52mgtd@springmail.com ( not the one on the top)

Now how Irish can Bennigans get? But for St Pats day, not corned beef, you believe that?
Try the Potato soup, very good stuff

north 11

while the new cook is good on the prime rib, I can not understand why they think the chicken chili is any good, it is just white bean soup with some chicken bits in it.
Do not miss the 'skewers'

thoughts on real acceptability

I get tired of the Gazette food editor and his reviews when there are real differences in what he says and what we eat.
